Summer is great: you don't have to layer coats upon sweaters upon scarves, and you can nix the hats and lighten up your locks. However, one giant drawback, especially for us curly haired girls, is that humidity begets renegade, orphan Annie-like frizz. You can saturate the offending mop with product, but the trick is to find a formula moisturizing enough that won't make you look like you dunked your head in a bucket of canola oil. Babe's secret weapon is the ShiKai line, which carries amazing products for highlighted hair, such as the Color Reflect Mist & Go Conditioner and Daily Moisture Conditioner. They're cheap ($7.45), effective and vegan -- pretty smooth! ShiKai can be found at Whole Foods, GNC and Vitamin Shoppe.
